What are the job requirements?
In order to work on this project, you must have high-speed Internet access, and long distance telephone service. You are allowed to use a mobile phone on this project (a landline phone is not required). You must also possess good telephone etiquette and a pleasant demeanor.
Is this an employee or independent contractor position?
All surveyors are considered temporary employees of Select Staffing. So, your employer is actually Select Staffing but you will work with Yardi Matrix.
What is the work schedule?
You will complete surveys Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6 p.m. within surveyed time zones. You are required to work at least 10 hours each week in order to remain an active surveyor on the team. In addition, you will be assigned to certain markets to work while you are on the project. So, even though you live in one U.S. state, you might be assigned markets to call in several other states. Please note there may be times when you are allowed to work during the weekends but it must be pre-authorized in advance.
What is the hourly rate?
Surveyors are paid a flat hourly rate, along with a piece rate for each survey (more details provided on Yardi Matrix's website). Many surveyors average between $10.00-$12.00 per hour. Surveyors are paid on a weekly basis via direct deposit.

FYI - I have personally worked on this project, so I do have first hand experience as a Rent Surveyor. The work was very interesting, and sometimes even fun. So, I highly recommend this job to anyone who enjoys talking on the phone and communicating with different people.
